Modes of Literature: Phineas and Ferb
My sister really likes the TV show Phineas and Ferb. I must say that I enjoy it too because I find it funny at times. I think it's comedy because everything starts normal (normalcy), then turns into chaos. The "boys" start to build some contraption and then something almost always goes wrong with it (problem/conflict). In addition, their sister is trying to get them in trouble for it by calling their mom. But right before she gets there, their contraption disappears. It usually has to do with their pet platypus who also happens to be a secret agent. (solution, even though it wasn't solved by the main character) The boys just sit under a tree, innocent, like nothing happened. (Return to normalcy)

I agree with you Evan. It's actually pretty funny and you've got the plot line down. Your blog is quite impressive too, because everything is easy to read. I also liked that you put a search engine right on top of your blog too. Good job Evan keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteYeah sometimes I like to watch that show too. it is the same thing every episode and that is kind of comforting, knowing that no matter what shape form or size problem that they get into they will somehow dig themselves out again. Most people can't do that although they might want to.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you, I think Phineas and Ferb is romantic because it's not realistic because you can't build a roller coaster in your backyard in a day and then have an expirement by an evil scientist destroy it just before your sister comes home with your mom to bust you. That could NEVER happen. And there is a minor conflict in the beginning because Candice is always worried about the thing she is doing with Stacci or how to get Jeremy to like her. So that is why it's romance

ReplyDeletebut it doesn't it's all minor conflict like perry and Douffinshmirtz, Candace, Staci, and Jeremy and finally, Candace, Phineas and Ferb. That isn't major conflict.
